Testimonials
Came to us! This was the easiest auto repair I have ever had done. Our scheduled appointment was for 9:00 in the morning. At 8:45 am Wheel Fix It was in our driveway and under our truck. Our repairs were done before we had the breakfast dishes loaded in the washer. And the prices were far below quoted estimates from the dealership. Not having the overhead of a shop crushing the business really allows Wheel Fix It to give competitive prices. You have our business locked in. We are in great repair and have nothing but respect for this mechanic. irfan - Google

Oil Changes

Regular oil changes insure longevity of any engine. Oil changes will be done on the location the customer chooses. Using a tarp and catch basin underneath the vehicle, oil is drained from the engine, a new filter is installed, and the appropriate amount of oil is added. Used oil is taken off premises to be recycled. No mess will be left behind.

30k, 60k, 90k Service

All manufacturers have a major service interval with a list of checks or items to check. Service requires that some items be replaced such as filters, fluids, and spark plugs and spark plug wires.

Brakes

A diagnostic is performed to determine exactly what is wrong with the brake system: pulsation in pedal or steering wheel, low pedal, squeaking, etc. Vehicle could need calipers, hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, etc. The rotors and brake drums may need to be turned; the pads may need to be replaced. Wheel Fix It, LLC can perform these services as well as lube caliper slides and replace any necessary hardware.

Water Pumps and Radiators

Includes replacement of bad or leaking part(s) and refilling with new antifreeze. Repairs requiring welding cannot be done. Tools required are a coolant funnel, pressure tester, basic hand tools, and some engine specific tools. Water pumps are sometimes driven by the timing belt and a combination of the two are done at the same time, thus saving the customer money and headache.

Timing Belts

Timing belts need to be replaced around 90,000 to 100,000 miles because belts stretch and dry rot over time. Engine damage could result if a belt breaks or jumps time (throws engine’s initial timing out causing it to bend valves or not run).

Check Engine Light

There are thousands of reasons why the check engine light might it come on. To determine the problem, a scan tool is used to pull and clear codes from the ECM, PCM, and computer. Using the code to follow a diagnostic flow chart, the exact problem can be determined. After repairs are made, the codes can be cleared or reset with the scan tool. This would make the light go off knowing that the vehicle is safe to operate.

Batteries, Starters, and Alternators

Common starting problems (an engine will not crank, or dies while driving, or has no lights on the dashboard when the key is turned on) could indicate that the battery is dead, or the starter is not turning over the engine, or the alternator is not maintaining enough voltage and amperage to charge the battery while engine is running. The battery is always disconnected to service any of these parts. Please note that all metal parts are recycled. Some parts are returned for core charge. Batteries have a core charge and the parts store recycles them.

Axles and Bearings

When a vehicle’s axles are bad, they may produce a vibrating or clicking noise. This could mean that the bearings need to be greased (repacked) or the boots that hold the grease are busted. Most boots and bearings nowadays are sealed and replaced as a unit. Ideally, the car should be put on a rack to have this done, but since Wheel Fix It, LLC is a mobile repair shop, the car is jacked up, the wheels are removed and jack stands are placed under car as a safety precaution.

Road-side Service

A vehicle may breakdown unexpectedly during travel stranding a motorist on the side of the road. The car could overheat due to a leak; a tire may blow out; a belt may be broken; the alternator may stop charging the battery; the fuel pump may quit working; or some other problem such as ignition system failure. Many repairs can be done on the side of the road for less than a tow bill. If the service cannot be provided due to safety risks or a problem that may take days to repair, A to B Wrecker will be called to tow the vehicle to a more suitable location such as Wheel Fix It’s home garage.

Belts, Hoses, and Filters

Every time the oil is changed, the belts and hoses are checked for weakness, cracking, or leaking. This preventative maintenance can save money and inconvenience later on.

Wheel Fix It, LLC can also perform A/C work, engine and transmission replacement, differential rebuilds, oil leaks, or find and fix a mysterious noise.
